The study Camatte to win the heart of both children and adults. The little ones can even take place at the wheel, when an adult helps with steering and braking.
At the Toy Fair Tokyo Toy Show (14th-17th June 2012), the study showed Toyota Camatte. The name derives from the Japanese word for welfare. With the mini-mobile, parents and children together and discover the fun of driving at the vehicle individualization. Of just 2.70 meters long, four-wheeled Camatte has a width of 1.30 meters and a height of 1.20 meters. The wheelbase of 1.80 meters is sufficient to accommodate three passengers.
Easily replaceable body panels
The body adapts very well to the wishes of the owner. Thus, the body panels are interchangeable, allowing numerous combinations of colors and designs. On boarding the glass structure is folded away - similar to the classic Messerschmitt bubble car of the 50s, but not to the side, but forward. The driver sits alone in the front row, the two passengers take place diagonally behind it. This triangular configuration will also facilitate the communication. Pedals and seats can be adjusted so that children can gain experience behind the wheel. It is designed to help an adult on the right rear seat while steering and braking. About the drive of Toyota Camatte and a possible mass production of the Mini car shares nothing with Toyota.
